Many conditions in animals are treatable with PEMF

Veterinary

Animals are frequently used as research subjects to test out therapies or investigate basic cellular mechanisms. These are often done because these kinds of experiments may not be able to be done in humans. While they are not specifically intended for the treatment of animals they are credibly informative to us on the value of the use of these technologies across many forms of biology. Many of these mechanisms or therapies are actually applicable to humans. Once they have been established as potentially effective in animals, then studies are conducted in humans. Many mechanisms of the effects of pulsed electromagnetic fields [PEMFs] have been found or seen in animals, which are then assumed to be in common with humans.

So, there is much research to support the use of PEMFs in animals, even though the original intention is to see how it might be able to affect human health.

As part of our effort to expand the awareness and usefulness of PEMFs, in general, and not only in humans, we would like to increase awareness of the phenomenal potential for use of PEMFs in animals, pets and in veterinary applications.

Many conditions in animals are treatable with PEMFs

There are many PEMF devices available on the Internet and in the market for animals. Most of these devices do have significant value. The challenge, as in humans, is to be able to select the devices that are the most likely to produce the desired benefits. The next challenge, of course, analogous to humans, is the cost. Animal health in general may be either more or less valued than human health. Pet owners frequently spend significant amounts of money to treat their pets, often more than they would on themselves. For many of us pets/companions are no less valuable than human companions. Unlike humans, there is usually no ‘health’‘ insurance coverage for pets. Humans rely on insurance for their own treatments, often to their own detriment, since they don’t always get access to the most effective technologies, only those that are approved by the government and supported by large industry. This is both good and bad. Unfortunately insurance tends to be self-serving, often at the cost of the individual needing that coverage. In the large animal situation, if there is insurance available, it is more like business insurance. It rarely covers the use of this type of insurance for specific health care needs, as opposed to loss, such as damage to your house or car.

Since PEMFs have such a wide range of application to animals, possibly even wider than humans, they should be considered in the management of animals before surgery if appropriate. Many conditions in animals are marvelously treatable with PEMFs. Studies done in Eastern Europe on animals, replicating human trauma, have demonstrated dramatic benefits.

Understanding all this, we will be introducing various PEMF technologies for the use for pets and animals, whether for veterinary practice or personal use for your own pets/animals. We hope to reduce the burden of suffering and accelerate the natural potential for healing for both the human owner and the pets/animals.

Animals respond more dramatically to PEMFs

One of the amazing phenomena for animals is that their metabolic rates are so much higher than humans and therefore they responded to PEMFs much more dramatically. As in humans, the challenge is when to apply the magnetic fields. Unfortunately, most people wait until it’s too late. This is either the personal preference of the owner or the lack of awareness by the veterinarian of the value of PEMFs in a given situation.

As in humans, PEMFs penetrate the entire volume of the animal body, including stimulating every individual cell in their path, to produce the results. As a result, by increasing the metabolism and energy in the individual cells of the body, the animals are often able to dramatically improve their healing, whether from injury, surgery, infection or other conditions. As in humans also, there are terminal conditions, for which magnetic therapies may not be effective, despite our best efforts. Unfortunately, knowing when this is likely to be the case is not predictable.

There are many PEMF devices that are specifically promoted for animals and there are many human devices that are also promoted for animals. These latter devices have simply been reconfigured, in terms of their applicators, for the particular animal for which treatment is intended. I have a very hard time being able to say that there are devices that are ONLY specific to animals. This may happen as a result of people developing devices that have only ever been used, researched or are intended for use only in animals. As I said before, biology is biology, human or animal. The organs may be different, the physical configuration may be different, the species may be different, but the biologic actions are comparable or identical.

PEMF for lifetime health maintenance

Therefore, many of the devices that we have on the website for human use may be able to be used for animals too. So, any human owning a magnetic system may be able to use it effectively on their own pets or large animals. The reverse is true as well. The devices may be high intensity, low-frequency devices, such as the PEMF 100, or low intensity, low-frequency devices. All these are offered as well on www.DrPawluk.com. Sometimes high intensity, low-frequency devices such as the PEMF 100 may be able to create benefits much faster. This is more typical of a person coming in to do treatment on a periodic basis.

In large animals, such as horses, this may be especially the case. The challenge here is the fact that the PEMF 100 is very expensive to own. Therefore it is most likely to be owned by a professional applying treatments. On the other hand, low intensity, low-frequency systems, often used by humans, can be very effective for animals as well, at a considerably lower cost.

On our website who will be presenting devices that have often been mostly promoted for animals, however, you should know that any of the devices that we have demonstrated for humans will also be useful for animals. As in humans, the use of these devices will depend on the situation. The medical circumstances will drive or dictate the optimal device selection.

Unlike humans, small animals would need much lower field intensities and devices that are more easily applied. Large animals, such as horses, more likely would benefit from higher intensity magnetic fields, since a larger volume of tissue needs to be treated.

As with humans, animals would also benefit from lifetime health maintenance. Most people tend to look at acquiring PEMFs only when a problem shows up. However, like humans, animals can also use health maintenance treatments. These would optimize the level of health in the physiology of the animal. At the very least, this would result in decreased costs with veterinary bills, medications, special diets, physical therapies, etc.

On www.DrPawluk.com we will specifically focus on devices that we believe will be most helpful to animals. We encourage you to look at the rest of the website to see if you believe that other devices may be better for your situation, including your own personal needs. I tell my patients all the time, “when you get a PEMF system, you don’t own it, the house owns it!” That means that not only the humans get to use it, but also the dog, the cat, and the plants!
